Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!

Fin Shepard attends a formal ceremony in Washington, D.C., where the President awards him the Presidential Medal of Freedom for his heroics during the sharknado crises of 2013 and 2014. The event frames him as a national hero, but a looming tropical depression soon unsettles the celebration. The moment sets the stage for the new disaster heading toward the capital.

As a tropical depression approaches, a fresh sharknado swarms the capital and tests Fin and the President's alliance. They join forces to confront the raging swarm, but the storm ultimately evaporates instead of being wiped out by force alone. The miraculous cleanup is quickly overshadowed by the looming threat.

Worried about his pregnant wife April and their daughter, Fin races down the East Coast toward Florida. Along the way, a fognado appears and menaces him as the clock ticks on his family’s safety. He prepares for whatever chaos lies ahead as his wife and child depend on his speed.

Nova and Lucas, veteran sharknado trackers, blast the fognado and reveal they have been traveling across the country in a weaponized RV to save lives. They agree to team up with Fin to combat the escalating storm systems. The trio realizes a much larger wall could blanket the East Coast.

Nova, Lucas, and Fin learn that a vast sharknado wall will engulf the East Coast, so they drive to Charleston Air Force Base to obtain a fighter jet capable of reaching Orlando. The urgency escalates as the storm looms closer to the coast. The base visit marks a turning point in their attempt to intervene from the air.

At Charleston, Lucas sacrifices himself to curb an advancing sharknado, buying his companions precious seconds. Nova and Fin then secure a fighter jet that can reach the heart of the storm. The sacrifice underscores the high cost of stopping the swarm.

Nova and Fin blast another sharknado near the Daytona International Speedway, crash-landing their jet inside the Universal Orlando Resort. The attack claims Claudia's friend Jess, while Claudia and Billy narrowly escape with their families. The chaotic landing marks a critical escalation of the crisis.

The survivors take shelter in the Universal Studios globe at the resort's entrance, but a sharknado tears it free and hurls it away. May is injured in the chaos and is rushed to the hospital alongside others. The hospital visit compounds the group’s distress as the threat grows.

Desperate for a radical solution, the group seeks help from Fin's estranged father, Gil Shepard, a former NASA colonel. He agrees to bring his expertise to a plan that could break or weaken the storm from space. The collaboration brings a glimmer of hope that the storm's fury can be disrupted.

A top-secret Space Shuttle mission is organized to ignite rocket fuel tanks and disrupt the storm from above Earth. Fin, Gil, and the others race against the clock as the countdown begins. They know the odds are against them, but the alternative is total destruction.
