After Saravanan's father suffers a heart attack, Saravanan decides to earn an honest living by driving the family ambulance. This marks a turning point in his life as he moves away from scamming people to finding legitimate work, though this decision inadvertently pulls him into the dangerous criminal underworld.

Saravanan is hired to drive a mourning family transporting a corpse, but he discovers the body is actually crime reporter Deepak's. The mafia intended to dispose of Deepak in the forests to hide the organ trafficking conspiracy. Saravanan manages to escape with both the body and Deepak's cell phone containing the crucial evidence.

Shiva, who is Rajarathinam's assistant, is revealed as the true mastermind behind the organ trafficking network. He orchestrates the asylum fire to cover up illegal organ harvesting from mentally disabled patients and orders the murders of both Health Minister Rajarathinam and reporter Deepak to silence anyone who gets too close to the truth.

Shiva's position as Rajarathinam's trusted assistant provides him with insider access to cover the crimes effectively.

Neena, an aspiring screenwriter, sees potential in Saravanan's life story of deception and eventual redemption. She believes his reform arc could make a compelling, marketable script for her film producer. Her initial interest is professional, but she genuinely wants to guide him toward a better path.

Saravanan stops at a mosque while carrying Deepak's body toward the rendezvous point with ACP Suryanarayana. His father calls him there and sings a lullaby of encouragement, urging him to do good even in the face of danger. This moment gives Saravanan the courage to continue despite the overwhelming risks.

ACP Suryanarayana orders reporter Martin to live-broadcast the contents of Deepak's cell phone directly from the ambush site. This exposes the organ trafficking conspiracy and reveals Shiva as the mastermind. The broadcast enables the public to witness the corruption and leads to the immediate dismantling of the criminal network.

Janaki directs Neena and her friends to Rajarathinam's wife Meera, who reveals that ACP Suryanarayana is the one honest police officer who can help them. With this lead, they coordinate with him to receive the evidence and plan the public exposure of the organ trafficking operation.

Neena discovers that the two women she saw mourning at the mall are the same pair she had followed earlier with Saravanan. This proves the mourning family was a mafia fabrication designed to trick Saravanan into transporting Deepak's body, confirming that the entire operation was staged by criminals.

At the press conference, ACP Suryanarayana deliberately leaves the citizen-hero unnamed, stating that the real hero isn't the police or government but an ordinary citizen who chose to stand up against injustice. This nod to collective action emphasizes that anyone can be a hero, not just the main character.
