Sathya

Sathya, living in Sydney, receives a voice call from his ex-lover Shweta. He decides to travel to India for a family wedding and arranges a car for hire through Babu Khan. He also secures a SIM card for his sister's address and checks into the Hotel Marriott before heading out.

Sathya meets Shweta at a restaurant and learns that her five-year-old daughter Ria is missing. Gowtham and others around them doubt that Ria exists. Sathya resolves to dig deeper into the mystery.

Sathya launches an informal probe that yields little and draws the ire of two Afro-American gangsters in the city. Babu Khan intervenes and helps Sathya, saving him on humanitarian grounds when things go wrong. The investigation intensifies despite the danger.

Sathya, posing as police officer Vasanth Menon, meets Gowtham and learns the couple is childless. Gowtham recalls Shweta being attacked by two masked men near a school, after which she fell into a coma. After recovering, Shweta begins claiming she has a five-year-old daughter named Ria.

Sathya watches CCTV footage of the masked attackers assaulting Shweta, but Ria does not appear in the recording. The missing child raises questions about Shweta’s mental state and the truth of her claims. Sathya’s suspicions grow as the evidence doesn’t match her narrative.

Sathya confronts Shweta about the existence of Ria; she refuses to acknowledge her. He notices height markings of a child on a wall, which deepens his doubt. That confrontation ends with Shweta taking her own life.

ACP Anuya Bharathwaj and Inspector Chowdary begin investigating Shweta’s death. Vasanth is killed at the Marriott, and Babu confesses that he saw Bobby kidnapping Ria. The investigation shifts toward Bobby’s involvement.

Bobby is arrested and taken into custody, but Anuya kills him in self-defense while in custody. The case grows murkier as the lines between justice and danger blur. Sathya and the team press on with the investigation.

That same night, Vasanth’s murderers attack Babu and Sathya; Babu is killed in the crossfire. Sathya discovers an MMS on the murderers’ phone that shows Anuya ordering their deaths. The conspiracy appears to reach the highest levels.

Sathya confronts Anuya at her farmhouse, where Ria is hidden. Anuya reveals Gowtham wanted to kill Ria and that the plan was to pretend she never existed. She also explains that Ria had been found in Bobby’s custody.

Chowdary intervenes and shoots Anuya to prevent further harm. Gowtham is arrested and admits that Ria is not his daughter; a medical report later confirms his sterility. The truth about Ria's parentage becomes clear.

Sathya recalls their last night together in India and realizes Ria is his biological daughter. The film closes with the image of Shweta smiling through Ria as the truth finally sinks in. The mystery resolves at last, altering Sathya's understanding of his family.
