Ravi Narayan meets Bittu and reveals his appetite for fast money through IPL betting, including the location of the betting ring. Bittu senses opportunity and recruits Ravi while hinting at corrupt shortcuts. The dialogue plants the seed for Ravi’s involvement in the looming crime and the police response.

Police raid the betting ring and arrest Ravi. During interrogation, Ravi deduces that Bittu tipped off the cops, prompting him to convince ACP Seetharaman to rethink his stance on the case. The suspicion seeds distrust between investigators and the criminals.
