Jugran escapes a planned arrest by Customs Officer Verma and, to save himself, kills his twin brother Manmohan and assumes his identity. The world is led to believe Jugran remains on the run. This sets up the layer of deception that drives the rest of the story.

Ravi Verma becomes an Inspector, while Ramesh becomes Romeo, a crook and safecracker. Seema grows into Simmi, another feared figure on the wrong side of the law. The brothers and Seema live parallel lives, unaware of their shared bloodline.

Simmi and Romeo finally turn over the loot to Jugran, only to be captured when Jugran binds and gags them after revealing the truth. He plans to leave them to die in a boiling acid container, but Romeo's pet pigeon saves them at the last moment.

Romeo and Simmi escape and are separated. Romeo tells Ravi the truth, and Ravi reveals to Ramesh that Jugran killed their father.

Ravi, Ramesh, and Seema receive a tip-off and converge on Jugran. In the climactic showdown, they kill Jugran on the spot, ending his reign and exposing the long web of deceit.
