Room 203

Kim and Izzy move into the apartment and start settling in. Ronan, the landlord, gives them a tour and warns about two crucial rules: do not damage the stained-glass window and stay out of the basement. The eerie window fascinates and unsettles them as they explore their new home.

Kim discovers a wall hole in her room and tries to cover it with a mirror, but the mirror keeps tilting or falls. Izzy finds an amulet necklace in the hole and starts wearing it, despite Kim's misgivings. That night, Izzy begins sleepwalking, hinting at something dark beneath the surface.

Kim wakes late for college orientation and is greeted by Ian, a friendly student who gives her a private campus tour. They bond over their shared interest in journalism and dream of pursuing it after graduation. Kim decides to write a paper about Izzy's fraught family life without telling Izzy.

Izzy's behavior grows more erratic as she brings home a young man and later a young woman to spend the night; both disappear before morning. Kim watches her friend drift into more reckless, unsettling actions. The apartment becomes a site of increasingly disturbing events.

A crow flies into Kim's room and slips into the growing hole in the wall, which has taken on a wound-like appearance. Earlier that day, Kim found a metal music box bearing names. Later, Izzy enters with the music box in hand, and blood is seen on her head from banging on a door.

Kim helps tend to Izzy after she bangs on the locked door and bleeds. The next day Izzy seems normal, but sleepwalking continues and worsens, especially when she ventures into the basement. Kim grows increasingly worried for her friend's safety.

Kim confides her concerns to Ian and he suggests researching the building's history. They uncover a decades-old case involving Liam McNally and his wife Karen, who previously lived in Room 203. The couple's tragedy hints at a darker legacy connected to the apartment.

Kim and Ian seek out Milton Briggs, the janitor, who reveals that Karen was murdered by her husband and the baby survived. The baby, who would grow up to be Ronan, is connected to the cursed necklace. This confirms a direct link from the past to the present.

Ian studies the stained-glass mural's imagery and links it to Celtic pagan symbols and Morrigu, a crow goddess of death. The mural's meaning begins to explain the house's haunting and the crow motif that appears throughout. Kim and Ian realize the window may be more than art; it is a conduit for the curse.

Izzy's confrontation with Kim over the paper escalates when Kim discovers a shriveled hand emerging from the hole, wearing a ring identical to the one the other visitor wore. The discovery confirms a link between the past victims and Izzy's current peril. The sense that someone in the apartment is connected to the necklace intensifies.

Ronan bursts into the apartment, abducts Kim, and reveals he is the baby who survived the past tragedy. He explains that the amulet belonged to his mother, and Morrigu's curse targets the necklace's wearer. He vows to keep offering to appease the curse.

Ian rushes to help but is killed by a possessed Izzy. Kim escapes and follows Izzy into the basement as Ronan pursues. The desperate chase leads to the heart of the haunting beneath the apartment.

Ronan becomes possessed and, driven by Morrigu, turns the gun on himself. Izzy's own personality struggles for control, and Kim refuses to kill her friend. Kim finally rips the cursed amulet from Izzy's neck, lifting the curse.

Kim and Izzy decide to destroy the stained-glass window to break the curse. They smash the window and rush outside, only to be confronted by ominous crow activity. Izzy carries Kim to the hospital for urgent care.

They escape to safety, with Izzy rushing Kim to the hospital. Behind them, the shattered window in Room 203 reveals Morrigu's presence as hundreds of crows swarm the area. The film ends with a chilling implication that Morrigu's threat remains.
