Rock Monster

A group of traveling college students arrives in the small Eastern European village of Ivanovo after their bus breaks down. Jason pulls a sword from a stone, unwittingly reviving a giant monster whose body is made of rock. The creature blends with the rocky landscape and begins a deadly rampage.

During the chaos, Warren, who has an injured ankle, disappears into the surrounding woods. The Rock Monster stalks the forest and eventually kills him, turning a personal tragedy into a stark warning. The group mourns as they realize the danger is real.

Jason tries to contact the police from Cassandra's father's office, hoping for help. The phone line is cut by criminal gypsies, severing their only line to safety. The group must decide how to proceed without external assistance.

On the road to another town to seek aid, the group comes across the gypsies' bodies and is confronted by the Rock Monster. The creature reforms and attacks, forcing the survivors to flee back toward the village. The threat has returned with a vengeance.

They manage to reach the village but are pursued by the monster. In the chaos, a car explodes, cutting off a quick escape route. The villagers brace for a battle they may not be prepared to fight.

In a tense town hall meeting, the Colonel delivers a speech that rallies the frightened villagers to stand up against the monster. He reveals that Jason's sword is a powerful weapon capable of killing the creature. The crowd grows hopeful but wary of the coming fight.

Jason escapes his captors, defeats Dimitar, and uses the ancestral painting to unleash a rock spear that opens the ground beneath the monster. He stabs it, sending the creature and Dimitar to Hell. Cassandra, Toni, and the Colonel witness a hard-won peace as the village contemplates its next steps, including outreach to other villages.
