In 1987 Chicago, Angie Pitarelli, a witty stripper, finds herself in a fierce rivalry with Sally Mewbourne, the leader of religious protesters. As Angie begins her new shift in the adult bookstore 'Revealers', tensions escalate between the two women.

An otherworldly rift suddenly manifests in the sky, signaling the onset of an apocalypse. The appearance of this rift triggers chaos, leading to a frantic response from people outside as they turn on each other in fear.

In the midst of the mayhem, Ray, the owner of 'Revealers', attempts to safeguard his establishment against the frightened protesters. Tragically, as Angie watches, Ray meets a gruesome end, leaving her isolated and helpless within her booth.

With Ray dead and chaos reigning, Sally manages to enter 'Revealers', becoming the sole survivor. Despite their clashing beliefs, she and Angie decide to collaborate for survival, realizing the necessity of working together against the surrounding horrors.

Just when things seem to settle, Ray returns from the dead as a zombie, attacking Sally. In an act of bravery, Angie devises a diversion, giving Sally the opportunity to defend herself and brutally beat Ray to death with a crowbar.

After defeating Ray, Angie faces another imminent danger: a monstrous, sentient tentacle creature. Sally bravely intervenes, saving Angie from being consumed by the creature, solidifying their bond in the heat of crisis.

Angie hears the anguished voice of her nephew David calling for help, but it is ultimately revealed to be a manipulation by Asmodeus, the demon prince of lust and judgment. This revelation turns their attention toward finding refuge from the encroaching danger.

While seeking safety, Angie and Sally stumble upon hidden tunnels beneath 'Revealers', remnants from the era of Prohibition. These tunnels are their only hope of escape from the chaos above.

As Angie and Sally explore the tunnels, they begin to share personal stories and connect on a deeper level. This newfound bond helps them appreciate each other's lives and challenges, transforming their initially antagonistic relationship.

Tension arises when Sally insists on taking a tunnel towards Saint Augustine’s Church, while Angie desires to find David first. This disagreement leads to a short separation between the two women, highlighting their differing priorities.

Realizing the urgency of their situation, Angie returns to rescue Sally from a swarm of sinister slithering creatures. This act reaffirms their partnership and the trust they've developed amidst the chaos.

Sally grapples with her faith when she learns that the snakes are not after Angie but specifically targeting her. This revelation forces her to confront her own shortcomings and hidden truths.

After defeating Asmodeus, they arrive at mysterious underground doors, which they believe will lead them to safety. However, unease washes over them as they realize the outside world may be lost to chaos.

With the world outside succumbing to apocalyptic chaos, Angie takes Sally's hand and leads her through the mysterious doors. As they step inside, they are met with flickering lights and ominous laughter, embodying the uncertainty of their fate.
