Return of the Living Dead: Necropolis

Ten years after the events of 'Return of the Living Dead 3', Charles Garrison embarks on a dangerous quest to Chernobyl, Ukraine. His goal is to retrieve the last six canisters of the lethal substance known as Trioxin 5 from the site of the 1986 nuclear disaster.

Upon arriving in Chernobyl, Charles meets two Russian sellers who provide him with leads on the whereabouts of the Trioxin canisters. His search leads him to an abandoned power station, setting the stage for impending danger.

As Charles investigates further, one of the Russians accidentally exposes himself to the toxic gas, transforming into a reanimated corpse. Faced with this immediate danger, Charles acts decisively and eliminates the zombie with a shot to the head.

Charles, now back home, takes in his nephews, Julian and Jake, following the death of their parents in a Hybra Tech incident. His growing obsession with Trioxin leads him to conduct dangerous experiments, including reanimating a severed arm.

While grappling with the tension at home, Julian yearns for adventure and takes a trip on his motorbike with friends. However, the thrill turns tragic when Zeke, during a reckless stunt, suffers a fatal accident, leaving the group devastated.

A gas leak from Charles' experiments triggers a catastrophic event, leading to the reanimation of a dead rat. This unforeseen situation initiates a terrifying series of encounters between the living and the undead, implicating everyone involved.

After learning about Zeke's death, Julian plunges into grief. He, along with his friends, embarks on a mission to uncover the truth behind Zeke’s demise, leading them to Hybra Tech where they aim to discover the horrors hidden within.

Using fake IDs, Julian and his friends infiltrate the facility. Amidst their search, they confront zombified versions of homeless men, 'Crusty' and 'Joey', leading to a tense confrontation as Carlos must eliminate them to aid their escape.

The friends locate Zeke within the facility, but their rescue attempt triggers an alarm. Charles reveals the grim truth about Julian's parents, believed to be alive within Hybra Tech, further complicating their mission.

As the group attempts to deactivate the alarm, chaos erupts with zombies flooding in from all directions. Carlos' panic leads to mistakes that intensify their crisis, causing them to seek refuge in ventilation shafts amid the impending doom.

As Katie orchestrates evacuation efforts, Julian, Carlos, and Cody take different routes within the facility. Meanwhile, Zeke, Becky, and Jake attempt to escape the unfolding chaos, leading to unforeseen disasters and confrontations.

In a grim discovery, Julian and Cody encounter reanimated versions of his parents, which forces a hasty retreat as they recognize the grotesque reality of the experiments conducted by Hybra Tech.

As the chaos continues, Zeke transforms into a zombie, leading to a disastrous crash during his desperate attempt to feed. The group must confront both the loss of their own and the newfound threat from their friend now turned foe.

In the ultimate confrontation, Julian battles Zeke in a heart-wrenching moment, resulting in an explosive end for his friend. Amidst the brutality, Katie tragically succumbs to flames, marking a painful loss.

As the surviving trio joins forces with a SWAT team to fight off the remaining zombies, they encounter Julian’s father seeking vengeance. The finish brings a bittersweet resolution, but Charles escapes with the Trioxin canisters, leaving a chilling legacy behind.
