Repeat Shoe

Dileepan, a scientist, creates a pair of shoes with time-travel abilities that can send the wearer back 10 days or 10 minutes depending on which shoe is struck on the ground. He tests them during a police chase, hoping to outrun his pursuers. The plan backfires when he is caught; to keep the shoes from the authorities, he hurls them into a bush and disappears.

Maari, eager to prove himself, fires at the pursuing officers from an upper vantage. His shot hits Dileepan instead, and Priya flees the scene in fear. The failed attempt foils Dileepan's immediate escape and heightens the danger around them.

The next day, Priya works at her drunkard father's cobbler stall before school and encounters Maari as a customer. Maari asks her to repair his sentimental shoes in two days in exchange for a stall makeover, which Priya agrees to. Priya loses Maari's shoe in the ensuing chaos, then finds Dileepan's shoe and hands it back to him, saying it will bring him good luck.

Priya's father decides to sell her to a child trafficking group for ₹100,000. Priya learns of the plan and encourages the other girls to escape, helping them plot their attempt to break free.

Dileepan comes out of the hospital and learns Priya has taken his shoe. He discovers that her father has sold her and heads toward the trafficking location to locate her. He senses the girls are attempting to escape and prepares to intervene.

Maari learns Priya has been sold and joins the search to find her. He moves through the streets, hoping to reconnect with her and perhaps reclaim the shoes as a sign of his bravery.

Dileepan fights with the traffickers and frees the captive girls. He discovers with horror that Priya had died in the chaos, a tragedy that strengthens his resolve to end the threat. The rescue ends with the group escaping the immediate danger, though the loss weighs heavily.

Maari arrives at the scene and realizes the shoes belong to Dileepan; after some hesitation, he returns them to the scientist. Dileepan pleads for the shoes to aid in rescuing the others, and Maari reluctantly hands them back.

Dileepan uses the shoes to travel back to the moment he was threatening the police with Priya. He manages to dodge Maari's bullet and escape, choosing to alter the course of events rather than let Priya die.

In the altered timeline, he stops Priya's drunkard father from selling her and takes Priya with him, freeing her from immediate danger. He moves away from the trafficking plan and keeps her safe as they depart.

With Priya safe, Dileepan uses the time-shifted opportunity to intercept the trafficking group as they transport the other girls. He confronts the criminals, ensuring the victims are rescued and separated from the criminals' hold. The operation concludes with the girls freed and safeguarded.

The story ends with Dileepan and Priya moving forward together, with the rescued girls in protective care. The time-travel technology remains, but the immediate victory is the safety of the vulnerable and the moral choices that time travel imposes.
