A group of heroic princes known as the Fearless Seven — Merlin [Shin Yong-woo], Arthur [Kwon Sung-hyuk], Jack [Yoon Se-woong], Hans [Yoo Ho-han], and the triplets Pino [Kim Myung-jun], Noki [Jeon Kwang-ju], and Kio [Sa Seong-ung] — save a Fairy Princess from a dragon. However, upon seeing her green face, they mistake her for a witch and attack her. To teach them a lesson, she curses them to transform into green dwarfs whenever people look at them, and the only way to undo the curse is if they receive a kiss from “the most beautiful woman in the world.”

More than a year later, King White [Lee Jong-goo] marries Regina [Jun Jin-ah], and Regina quickly takes control of the kingdom. Her overweight but strong daughter, Snow White [Ahn So-yi], returns home to find her father, and she stumbles upon his diary with a warning not to touch apples hanging on a tree. The warnings prove prescient when the apples mysteriously morph into a pair of red shoes, and Snow, drawn to them, slips them on and is transformed into a slimmer version of herself. Regina attacks, but Snow escapes on a broom and crashes at the dwarves’ house, where the seven discover her and welcome her, recognizing Snow despite the enchantment. Seeing herself in the mirror, Snow proclaims herself “Red Shoes,” and the seven are immediately smitten, each hoping that a kiss from the world’s most beautiful woman might unlock the curse.

The group’s adventure grows odd and magical with the help of a large wooden bunny that Merlin befriends, and Regina enlists the selfish, inept Prince Average [Jeong Jae-heon], recommended by her Magic Mirror [Choi Han], to hunt Snow. Average sends his soldiers after her, but Merlin rescues Snow, and Average’s attack on the dwarves is repelled. That night, Snow and Merlin grow closer, yet Snow discovers the shoes cannot be removed. Regina amps up the stakes by giving Average and his guards magic apples that turn them into giant, monstrous wooden bears.

In a secluded forest, Snow confesses her feelings for Merlin, and they share a kiss. Merlin is stunned to realize the kiss does not undo his own curse, since Snow’s love is not the prophecy he believed. Average attacks again, and Merlin fights to defend Snow, but Average falls into a river, taking Merlin with him. Snow finally manages to remove the shoes so she can summon her strength to save Merlin, revealing her true identity as Snow White. Merlin, ashamed, departs, and Snow places the shoes back on to try to reconcile with him. After a moment, Merlin speaks with his own dwarf self and decides to help.

Regina then appears disguised as Merlin and urges Snow to eat an apple that would remove the shoes, but the real Merlin arrives, and Regina escapes with Snow. Regina, now aged and weak, tries to force Snow to eat the apple; Snow refuses, but she eats it to save her father, transforming herself into a new apple tree. The Mirror reveals that Snow will die when Regina plucks the new shoes from the tree. Merlin is unable to escape until the other dwarves, the bunny, and three wooden bear cubs intervene to save him and destroy the Mirror. Merlin sacrifices himself to save Snow by plunging down the castle with Regina; Regina dies, and the wooden creatures revert to humans, revealing the bunny to be King White.

Snow, restored to her true self, reunites with her father. Pino, Noki, and Kio bring Merlin to Snow, where he confesses his sincere feelings before dying in her arms. Snow grants him one last kiss, reviving him and restoring his human form for good. The pair marry, and the other dwarfs find their own equally unconventional partners. In the end credits, the Fairy Princess rescues Average from the river and, after a rude remark, turns him into another green dwarf.
