Real Men

The movie opens with a secret U.S. Agent navigating through a forest when he is suddenly shot. The government believes this was an inside job, leaving them without the only agent trustworthy enough to fulfill a crucial government requirement.

The story shifts to a bustling market where Nick Pirandello is working at a fish stall. His teammates discuss bringing him in despite his reputation as a loose cannon, indicating that he might be their last hope.

During his undercover work, Pirandello notices a rival agent and swiftly pursues him. He successfully traps the agent in a truck, using cunning tactics to extract information about a stolen map.

Under pressure, the rival agent reveals the location of the map, saying it is hidden in room 505 at the Highway Hotel. Pirandello takes advantage of this information, but not without inflicting a bit of psychological torment on the captured agent.

At the Highway Hotel, Pirandello retrieves the map from an alarm clock, but his escape is interrupted by armed KGB agents. He cleverly uses his shoelaces to swing across rooftops, narrowly avoiding danger as bullets fly.

Pirandello finally delivers the map to his captain, Cunard, only for an assistant to betray them by throwing the map out of the window. It's picked up by a rival agent, confirming that their operation is compromised.

Cunard instructs Pirandello to convince a look-alike named Bob Wilson to impersonate the deceased agent. Meanwhile, Wilson is dealing with personal issues at home, struggling to handle his family situation and his children's bullying.

Pirandello arrives at Wilson's home, revealing his identity in a chaotic encounter. Despite their tense start, he convinces Wilson of the seriousness of the situation, or so he thinks, as Wilson continues to resist.

In a comical turn, Pirandello and Wilson escape from attackers using makeshift weapons, with Wilson's situation getting hilariously out of hand when the men destroy his garage and prized ducks.

After much persuasion and a few close calls, Wilson reluctantly agrees to accompany Pirandello to Washington, D.C. They journey through various states, each marked by strange encounters and increasing danger from rival agents.

Upon reaching a hideout, the two are confronted by KGB negotiator Dolly, who complicates their efforts. They must make a life-threatening decision as she reveals the dire stakes of their mission.

In a bizarre twist, they are ambushed by rogue agents disguised as clowns. Wilson, encouraged by Pirandello’s dubious confidence boost, manages to defeat one clown during a chaotic fight.

After a series of setbacks, Wilson and Pirandello confront Captain Cunard, who turns out to be behind the sinister plot all along. An unexpected shootout ensues, resulting in a battle for survival.

Wilson finally meets the aliens and must decide between the sacred big gun and a good package. Elated by the encounter, he chooses diplomacy and learns the aliens’ plans for Earth.

Returning home, Wilson is a changed man, ready to confront his domestic issues. He discovers the truth about his wife's supposed affair and reclaims respect from his children, proving his growth.
