Charles Reece is a mass murderer who believes he has done nothing wrong. A liberal district attorney pushes for the death penalty after Reece slaughters a family on Christmas and allegedly drinks their blood. When the jury hesitates, Reece escapes custody and resumes his killing spree, forcing the legal system to confront a relentless predator.
