Race with the Devil

Frank Stewart, a motorcycle shop owner and former racer, reunites with his old friend Roger Marsh at a racetrack. They discuss the underwhelming test run Roger just completed, laying the groundwork for the adventure that follows.

The two couples, Frank and Alice Stewart along with Roger and Kelly Marsh, prepare to embark on a planned ski trip. They step out of Frank's brand new RV, filled with excitement for their upcoming adventure.

After departing from San Antonio, the group finds a serene and secluded spot off the highway to set up camp. This tranquil setting belies the horror that is about to unfold.

While Frank and Roger indulge in motorcycle racing, Kelly takes their dog Ginger for a walk. The dog's strange behavior raises Kelly's anxiety, hinting that danger may be lurking nearby.

That night, the couples gather for a meal, but the atmosphere is disrupted when they notice eerie figures dancing around a bonfire in the distance. Frank and Roger investigate, only to be horrified by the ritualistic murder they witness.

Using binoculars, Frank and Roger observe a masked leader conducting a brutal ritual. A young woman is savagely stabbed in what appears to be a horrific act of sacrifice, heightening their sense of fear and urgency.

Upon returning to the RV, Frank and Roger share their chilling experience with their wives. As they contemplate fleeing the area, they must first deal with their vehicle becoming stuck in a river, delaying their escape.

As they try to free the RV, they are ambushed by two cult members who attack them violently. Roger must fend off the attackers while chaos ensues, further complicating their situation.

The next morning, the group visits a local police station to report the ritualistic murder they witnessed. Sheriff Taylor accompanies them back to the site, sharing unsettling stories of drug users in the region.

Upon arrival at the ritual site with Sheriff Taylor, they find bloodstains and signs of a bonfire but no definitive evidence of the murder. Frank discovers a dog hanging from a tree, but the sheriff dismisses their claims, deepening their frustration.

Later, Kelly and Alice stumble upon a violent note left on the RV that adds to their growing fears. They research the occult, hoping to decode the runes, while the sheriff remains skeptical about their findings.

That evening, the couples try to relax at an RV park, but unease lingers. They meet other campers who initially seem friendly, but the mood shifts dramatically after discovering Ginger hung from their RV door.

After the shocking discovery of Ginger's body, the couples find themselves faced with deadly rattlesnakes trapped inside their RV. This series of misfortunes culminates in a crash against a tree, amplifying their crisis.

The next day, realizing their bikes have been vandalized and communication lines cut, the group embarks on a frantic attempt to escape. They encounter numerous roadblocks, leading to terrifying close calls with their pursuers.

Fatigued and fearful, they seek refuge for the night, only to find themselves surrounded by a circle of robed figures performing a ritual. Flames engulf their RV, trapping them in a nightmare as the chanting crescendos around them.
