Rajat Kartik Aaryan is the smooth, easygoing center of a Noida-flat trio, the cool dude who can light up a room with a grin. Everything begins to tilt when Neha Nushrratt Bharuccha enters the picture at a karaoke bar, capturing Rajat’s attention. Neha sees Rajat as a straightforward, uncomplicated guy and they soon start dating. She’s charming at first, but her visits to Rajat’s flat become more frequent and intrusive, and her presence shifts from casual to controlling as she moves in. The group’s dynamics start to strain under her demands, and Rajat’s friends begin to wonder if her entrance marks the end of their carefree evenings.

Meanwhile, Nishant’s life takes a different turn when he falls for Charu Ishita Raj Sharma, a new coworker who moves into his orbit with a mix of charm and manipulation. Charu slowly forces Nishant to clean up his language and to pick up a heavier workload for her sake, all while she leans on him for financial help—like paying Charu’s apartment deposit of Rs 50,000 and covering her beauty-parlor and shopping bills. Charu’s affection feels conditional, and Nishant remains naive to how he’s being used. The tension grows as Charu reveals she has a boyfriend, Abhi Ravjeet Singh, even as she presses Nishant to do more for her.

The third thread follows Vikrant’s longing for Riya Sonnalli Seygall, a woman who recently graduated from the Delhi College of Engineering and who cannot quite sever her ties to her ex, Varun Padam Bhola. Vikrant’s affection remains hopeful even as Riya wavers, insisting she will end things with Varun even though she keeps stepping back into that past relationship. Charu’s manipulations intensify: she fights to remove bikini pictures posted by Vikrant, extracts money for her own needs, and uses Nishant as a means to manage her life. When Nishant reveals his love, Charu counters with a hard truth about her boyfriend Abhi and mocks Nishant’s affection. The tension spikes as Charu stage-manages events to keep Nishant at arm’s length, and even stages a troubling suicide facade to disrupt Nishant’s interviews. Charu’s avoidance and insults at work compound the core pain of unrequited love.

Varun’s conflict with Vikrant comes to a head when Vikrant asks Riya to end her connection with Varun, only to learn that Riya spent a night with Varun. The revelation wounds Vikrant and undermines the fragile trust he’d built with Riya, forcing him to reassess the relationship.

The pressures on Rajat and Neha escalate into a deeper fight about money, family, and future plans.
