The army blocks all routes on the mountain as terrorists are cornered. Minister Mishra arrives to visit the temple, and guards initially refuse but relent due to his high position. Soon after, Abhrush's men attack and abduct Mishra, demanding safe passage to Pakistan.

The Para unit led by Major Jaidev Jai Rajvansh secretly penetrates the mountain to rescue Mishra and arrest the terrorists. They navigate the siege conditions, rescue Mishra, and take down several terrorists. They learn that the operation was compromised by a leak, as Abhrush already knew of the raid, causing some casualties.

After the raid, the army discovers there is a mole within Abhrush's network and that the transfer/custody details are tightly guarded. The route and transfer information is being sent directly from HQ to Jai, bypassing others. Jai suspects Mishra might be involved and theorizes the kidnapping could be staged to help Abhrush escape.

Jai takes a week off to be with his family. He meets Pooja Mallapa, daughter of a retired general, and they fall in love, while Jai's childhood friend Anjali harbors feelings for him. Anjali learns of Jai and Pooja's relationship and is heartbroken, while a plan from Mishra's assistant Tiwari begins to form.

Tiwari approaches Anjali with a seemingly lucrative offer to steal a code from Jai's files that would disrupt the army contract. Anjali agrees without realizing the code contains Abhrush's custody and transfer route information. The stolen code falls into the hands of Abhrush's men.

Using the stolen code, Abhrush's men learn the transfer route and ambush the transfer van, rescuing Abhrush. Jai is suspended from duty, and planted evidence leads to his treason arrest. Pooja's family ends their engagement, and Jai's own family suffers harassment and judgment.

Jai stands trial for treason and is sentenced to seven years in jail. The social fallout continues as Pooja's family cuts ties and Jai's family faces stigma from colleagues and neighbors. He remains resolute despite the mounting pressure.

Abhrush orders his men to kill Anjali and Tiwari after realizing Anjali survived. Anjali confesses everything to Colonel Hussain, who is furious about Mishra's involvement in terrorism. They go to Tiwari's house to arrest him, but Abhrush's men ambush them; Tiwari and Hussain are shot. Before dying, Tiwari reveals Abhrush's plan to bomb the town hall on Independence Day.

Hussain and Anjali rush to jail to alert Jai and reveal the plot, but during the chaos Hussain is fatally wounded and Anjali is shot while protecting Jai. They manage to escape, with Abhrush's men in hot pursuit as the chase continues.

Jai tracks Mishra and confronts him at Mishra's residence, beating him and tying a bomb around his body to force Mishra to take him to the town hall for the Independence Day plan. Mishra has little choice but to agree, hoping to avoid further danger for his family.

With Mishra's help, Jai reaches the town hall during the Independence Day celebration and moves backstage to locate Abhrush's men and the bombs. Abhrush uses Anjali as a hostage to disarm Jai, while Major General arrives to assess the unfolding threat and intervene.

Abhrush is shot by the Major General and killed; Jai works with the general to defuse the main bomb. Anjali is saved, Jai forgives her and declares his love. The Major General addresses the crowd, clears Jai's alleged treason, and proclaims him a hero.
