Project A-Ko

An alien spaceship crashes into Graviton City, wiping out the entire population and leaving a massive crater. The city remains in ruins until it is rebuilt sixteen years later, changing the landscape and the lives of survivors. This event provides the backdrop for A-ko and C-ko's arrival as transfer students.

High school transfer students A-ko Magami and C-ko Kotobuki enroll at Graviton High School. Their extraordinary abilities and confident personalities immediately set them apart from their classmates. The new school year marks the beginning of a series of daily conflicts and adventures.

A-ko possesses superhuman speed and strength, but she considers herself an average teenager. She worries about getting to school on time due to her habit of oversleeping. These conflicting traits create both comic moments and underlying tensions.

B-ko develops an obsession with C-ko and aims to win her over. She launches a series of mecha attacks piloted by her followers against A-ko each morning, escalating in power. The battles spill from the school into wider city spaces.

Trench-coated spy D monitors A-ko and C-ko and reports back to a large spacecraft approaching Earth. The aliens conclude they have found their lost princess and prepare for arrival. Tension builds as the spacefaring threat draws closer.

The alien ship reaches Earth and launches an all-out assault on Graviton military forces. Earth's defenders are overwhelmed by alien technology. A-ko and B-ko continue their rivalry even as the invasion unfolds.

The battle rages across the big city while soldiers struggle to repel the attackers. A-ko and B-ko's rivalry colors the crisis, influencing how people react to the disaster. The city becomes a war zone as technology from the aliens overwhelms defenses.

C-ko is abducted by D in the midst of the confrontation. D is revealed to be a princess of the Lepton Kingdom of Alpha Cygni. Her capture shifts the mission from rivalry to rescue.

A-ko and B-ko infiltrate the alien spaceship to confront D and Captain Napolipolita. B-ko rescues C-ko during the operation. The trio begins to rebuild their teamwork under fire.

B-ko opens fire on A-ko, D, and Captain Napolipolita, destroying the ship's navigation system. The vessel crash-lands atop the Military Command Tower, using the remains of the earlier crash as a perch. A-ko and C-ko emerge from the wreck, while B-ko lies unconscious on the tower.

The next morning, A-ko wakes up sore from the day's adventures and walks to school with C-ko in new uniforms. They pass by a disheveled D and the Captain, who beg for donations to repair their ship. The city resumes normal life beneath a layer of sci-fi spectacle.

The film ends with B-ko smiling as A-ko appears on the horizon, suggesting the rivalry will endure despite recent dangers. The bond of friendship and the ongoing competition between the two remains unresolved.
