Pinocchio 3000

Geppetto, an elderly inventor who cherishes old world magic, builds Pinocchio, a robot son, with the help of his penguin friend Spencer. The creation blends tradition with the city's appetite for progress. That night Geppetto and Spencer bring the life like toy into existence.

Mayor Scamboli unveils a plan to erase nature in favor of a gleaming technology driven utopia and to seize the city's power grid. He cuts the city mains to power his Grand Opening light show, plunging the city into blackout. The outage threatens both play and the natural world.

With the blackout Pinocchio awakens and Cyberina, a fairy who governs the magic of turning dreams into reality, appears. She imposes a strict moral condition on the magic she wields. This marks the beginning of Pinocchio's moral journey.

Pinocchio walks to school with Spencer the next morning and meets Zach, Cynthia, and Marlène. Marlène sees through Scamboli's cynicism and challenges Pinocchio to an Imagination game hosted by Cyberina. The encounter sets Pinocchio on a path toward Scamboli's influence.

During the Imagination game Pinocchio's competitive drive leads him to steal Marlène's medal after he believes he performed better. The act triggers a shift toward Scamboli's orbit and powers his plan. The theft marks Pinocchio's first real step away from Geppetto and toward the mayor's world.

Pinocchio is captured by Cabby and Rodo, Scamboli's robotic henchmen, and brought before the mayor. Scamboli is delighted by the living toy and envisions using Pinocchio to promote his vision. The meeting plants the seed for Pinocchio's future role in Scamboli's scheme.

Scamboland officially opens and Pinocchio becomes a central attraction. Geppetto strives to retrieve his son but is too late to stop the moment of his spotlight. Pinocchio is forced to perform as part of a spectacular show.

In the chaos, Scamboli abducts Geppetto to use him to reach Pinocchio. Meanwhile all the city’s children board a roller coaster ride called A Whale of a Change, which transfigures them into Scambobots under mind control. The city begins to lose its sense of play.

Pinocchio returns Marlène's medal and grows closer to her, sharing a quiet night in her private garden. The moment adds humanity to a city built to erase it and hints at Pinocchio's capacity to choose differently. It foreshadows the conflict between loyalty, love, and responsibility.

Marlène discovers that Scambobots have damaged her garden, a cruel reminder of the harm caused by Scamboli's plan. Marlène withdraws from Pinocchio, highlighting the growing rift between them. Pinocchio resolves to set things right.

Pinocchio learns that Geppetto has been turned into a robot by Scamboli and the duo steal a remote to control the Scambobots. They race toward the Tunnel of Danger, hoping to outmaneuver their pursuers. A high stakes chase ensues through a perilous passage.

Marlène arrives to offer help just as Scamboli deactivates her, threatening Pinocchio with a laser. Pinocchio shields himself with Marlène's medal and the laser reflects back, taking out Scamboli's weapon. Cabby accidentally hands Geppetto the master remote that controls all Scambobots, giving them a new edge.

Inside the Whale ride Pinocchio, Geppetto, Marlène and Spencer work to reverse the transformation. Pinocchio climbs into the ride's inner workings and begins a self reflective plan, telling lies in order to buy time. The cart reopens, Scamboli is caught in the ride's machinery, and the crisis deepens.

Cyberina returns to witness Pinocchio's growth and grants his wish to become a real boy. Geppetto is restored to human form and the city regains light and life with help from Cynthia's magical Funbrella. The ending affirms a harmony between technology and nature and the resilience of love and responsibility.
