Mehak Deo is molested by a taxi driver, an event that shatters her sense of safety and triggers extreme agoraphobia. She becomes paranoid about being in public places and withdraws from social interactions.

Mehak's sister Anusha, initially supportive, grows exhausted with her eccentric behavior as it starts affecting her own 5-year-old son. The family tension highlights the toll of Mehak's condition.

Shaan, a close friend, takes Mehak to an empty apartment with the idea that living alone for a while might help her regain independence. They relocate her to a space that feels separate from her former life.

In the new building, Mehak befriends Nikki, a college-going neighbor who becomes a companion in her isolated world. The friendship offers a glimmer of social contact within her safety bubble.

Mehak learns about Manu, a neighbor with anger management issues who runs a laughter club. Manu is devastated when his girlfriend Jiah leaves him, and she disappears from the apartment complex.

Mehak discovers Jiah's diary, which chronicles an abusive relationship with Manu and hints at a violent fate. Disturbing visions—such as a severed finger in a freezer and a red knife—lead her to suspect Manu killed Jiah.

Believing Manu to be the killer, Mehak calls Jiah's parents to convey her suspicions, but Shaan remains skeptical of her interpretations. The mounting tension blurs the line between delusion and reality.

Jiah unexpectedly arrives and confronts the group about Mehak's call. She then reconciles with a reformed Manu, leaving Mehak certain that she misread the situation.

Shaan admits his long-standing love for Mehak and tries to kiss her, which she rejects and accuses him of exploiting her vulnerability. Their confrontation mirrors Mehak's visions, sowing further confusion about reality.

In a paranoid panic, Mehak attacks Shaan with a knife. During the struggle, Shaan's attempts to calm her lead to her severing his finger, which he preserves in the freezer.

Shoring up her resolve, Mehak locks Shaan in his bedroom and steps out of the building to seek help, finally facing the world that once terrified her. The escape marks a turning point as she confronts her fear.

In the climactic scene, a painting Mehak created earlier foreshadows the moment, showing hands reaching out that mirror her injury. The vision aligns with reality as she goes out for help and seems to break free from her agoraphobia.
