Coco and his pregnant wife Pipi move into a Buenos Aires apartment complex. They bicker as they shop, while outside increasingly panicked crowds foreshadow the crisis. The building sits under government quarantine, setting the stage for what’s to come.

The apartment is officially quarantined by the government. Coco remains apathetic toward the looming pandemic, trying to sleep through the disruption while Internet and television fail. The sense of confinement grows as the outside world spirals into panic.

Horatio, a paranoid neighbor with a fortified apartment, begins to recruit Coco as an ally. He starts laying traps around the building in a bid to deter others. Coco is reluctant, but Horatio asserts control over the crisis.

Coco helps install and manage the survival measures, though he frequently trips the traps. The constant danger within the building intensifies, and Horatio's leadership grows while Coco remains mostly indifferent. The duo's dynamic becomes increasingly tense.

Coco is pressured to wear a hazmat suit, carry a pistol, and watch a survival training video that hints the pandemic could be a New World Order plot. He endures the odd mix of paranoia and preparedness. The uneasy dynamic between him and Horatio deepens.

An elderly man named Zanutto is suspected of illness by other tenants, turning him into a target for predation. Tension rises as distrust spreads through the building. The crisis accelerates as fear drives people to actions they wouldn’t normally take.

Zanutto uses a shotgun to dispatch tenants who come near, showing his paranoia and willingness to fight back. The violence reshapes the building into a dangerous space and heightens everyone’s sense of threat. Neighbors grow wary of approaching him.

Horatio convinces Coco to leave Pipi behind and join him in confronting Zanutto. The two prepare for a dangerous encounter that could tilt the balance inside the building. Coco’s resolve remains shaky, but he follows Horatio’s lead.

A tense shootout erupts between Horatio, Coco, and Zanutto. Zanutto slashes Horatio, while Horatio mortally stabs Zanutto, ending the immediate threat. The death of Zanutto shifts the dynamic inside the complex. Coco’s involvement grows as the struggle unfolds.

In the aftermath, Zanutto and Coco reach a fragile truce, and Zanutto asks Coco to watch his dachshund before dying from his wound. The moment provides a rare pause amid brutality and shows the survivors’ glimmers of uneasy cooperation. The group is briefly steadied by this odd mercy.

Horatio and Coco venture outside the complex to scavenge for supplies. When armed men attack, Coco defends Horatio, killing the aggressors and proving his value. Their partnership becomes more precarious, yet also more capable in the crisis.

Weakened from his wounds, Horatio tells Coco he believes he is infected and asks him to take care of his daughter and Pipi. He reveals a secret hideout he prepared and gives directions. Coco remains reluctant to take charge of leading them to safety.

Coco refuses to assume control and leave with the girls, enraging Horatio. In a desperate move, Horatio stabs Coco, hoping to provoke action before he dies. Coco escapes, wounded and unsettled by the turn of events.

A Chinese father, previously absent from the building, suddenly appears and shoots Horatio through the neck. Horatio dies with a grim, satisfied smile, having avoided a ghastly death from the disease. The survivors must press on without him.

Coco, the Chinese family, and the remaining survivors use Horatio's armored vehicle to reach his hidden refuge, beginning a new phase of their survival. The plan shifts toward relocation and safety as they depart the apartment building behind. This marks a fresh chapter in their crisis.
