After a singer named Pappan (Rahman) dies in a bike accident, the god of death Yamaraj (Thilakan) discovers that Pappan still has a few days left. Yamaraj grants him the chance to inhabit the bodies of other deceased people, including Inspector Devdas (Mohanlal), so he can tell his girlfriend Sarina (Lizy) that he has passed on and encourage her to move forward with her life.
