Four young people, Jo, Max, Gwen, and Dave, win an all-expenses-paid trip to New York courtesy of All2gethr.com. They board a private jet where they are asked to relinquish their mobile phones and participate in an online gaming experience on the in-flight entertainment system. An animated alligator asks them personal questions and reveals their lies, creating an uneasy atmosphere.

During the flight, the alligator reveals the lies they've told about their personal lives, especially their sexual histories, which are supposedly tracked through their All2gethr accounts. The participants feel embarrassed but are initially unfazed by these revelations, believing it to be just the game.

The alligator shows them shocking live footage of their friends being tortured and killed when Dave tries to call for help. This reveals that their safety isn't guaranteed, and the game has turned deadly, heightening the tension among the group.

Each friend is summoned to the bathroom to receive a personal task involving a loved one. They are told that if they fail these tasks within 45 minutes, their loved ones will die, and the plane will crash, forcing them into a terrifying moral dilemma.

Max discloses that he is not truly himself but an impersonator who hacked into Max's account to win the game. To prove his identity, he shows his passport, which confirms his real identity, adding tension about who they can trust.

Dave’s task is to uncover Max’s true identity, which he accomplishes. However, the alligator gives him a second task— to kill Max. Reluctantly, Dave attempts to kill Max with an ice hammer, resulting in Max murdering Dave in a struggle that follows.

The group is shown videos of Max's brother losing his arm and Dave’s fiancée being murdered by the alligator, intensifying the psychological torment and illustrating the high stakes of their survival.

Max breaks through into the plane's hold and discovers the corpses of their friends, watched recordings of their murders, and confronts the reality of their situation. He then tries to seek help via his laptop but is seized by the pilot, who is revealed to be under the control of the alligator.

Jo poisons Max with wine, fulfilling her task, knowing she is the last survivor. She then faces off with the pilot, who is revealed to have been coerced by the alligator to hijack the plane in exchange for his family’s safety. Jo is tasered but later regains consciousness.

Jo manages to open the plane’s exit to escape, accepting her fate as the plane crashes into the sea. She is sucked out of the aircraft just before impact, ending her attempt to survive while the wreckage is reported in the media.

Jo is shown a viral video of her daughter, Sophie, and learns that the alligator, Rupert Turner, is her daughter’s captor. He reveals he intends to post their ordeal online and live-stream her death, betraying her trust and sealing her tragic fate.

Jo is seen with Rupert Turner, who now claims that she is no longer Sophie but Lucy, her daughter. They walk away together hand in hand, leaving the audience with an unsettling ending that hints at a new beginning under hostile circumstances.
