Excited about their adventure, they board a private jet, leaving their phones behind to participate in the "in-flight entertainment," which turns out to be a disturbing online game featuring an animated alligator. Throughout the game, the alligator prompts them to answer personal questions, exposing their secrets and lies, including details about their sexual pasts that are supposedly tracked through their All2gethr accounts.
As the game progresses, the questions become more invasive and revealing of their true selves, causing embarrassment but not much fear initially. However, the atmosphere quickly shifts when the alligator reveals that it has tracked their lies and secrets. Suddenly, the mood darkens further as images of their friends being tortured and killed appear on the screen—footage that appears to be live. The friends are stunned and terrified, especially when they are told that each of them must go into a private bathroom one by one to complete a task involving a loved one or relative. Failure to complete these tasks within 45 minutes will result in the plane crashing, killing everyone onboard.
Conflict escalates as Max confesses that he is not who he claims to be; instead, he has hacked into the real Max’s account to win the trip. His true identity is revealed when he shows his passport, confirming who he really is. This sparks deep distrust among the group. Then, Dave, determined to uncover the truth, goes into the bathroom alone and completes his task of discovering Max’s identity. But the game has one more cruel challenge for him—he is ordered to kill "Max." After a tense struggle, Max assassinates Dave with an ice hammer. Their confrontation is brutal and devastating, leaving dark images of Max’s brother having his arm cut off and Dave’s fiancée being murdered by the alligator’s hands.
In a desperate attempt to calm Max, Jo (played by Scarlett Alice Johnson) offers him wine, which he drinks, hinting at increased instability. Meanwhile, Gwen (Elen Rhys), tries to seduce Max in the bathroom, but he quickly realizes that the plane's hold is adjacent to the bathroom. As Max begins to deteriorate, he foams at the mouth, dying from poisoning he has been given, which Jo had secretly administered with her poisoning of the wine.
The survivors’ chaos reaches a peak when Jo and the pilot confront each other. The alligator, demanding the pilot return to the cockpit, threatens to kill his family if he refuses. Jo tries to expose the fake pilot’s lies, telling him that the bodies of his family are already dead on the plane, but he tasers Jo before retreating. Jo recovers and is left stranded, unsure of her next move. She is ultimately left as the sole survivor, watching a video of a teenage girl, Lucy Turner, [played by an unknown actress], committing suicide. The alligator reveals that Lucy was his daughter, and his revenge is aimed at punishing those who watched her die without trying to save her year before.
The alligator then confronts Jo with the cold truth: she is the one who made the decision to kill his daughter, and now she will suffer the same fate.
