Sambandham and Janaki cross paths during Anand and Malathi's elopement. They instantly distrust the opposite gender and scoff at the idea of marriage. Their spat escalates to the police station, where Sambandham is arrested and later bailed.

Malathi feels misled about the Australia job before they eloped, and the seed of doubt starts to grow. Janaki's blunt counsel subtly widens their rift, and Malathi shoulders most of the household duties as suspicion deepens.

Sambandham schemes to pair Anand with Vanaja to spark jealousy and rekindle Malathi's warmth. Janaki counters with insinuations of Anand's possible infidelity, pushing the couple further apart.

Janaki crashes onto a movie set where Sambandham performs, accusing him of animal cruelty. Chaos erupts when a snake lands on the bull, the bull goes berserk, and Sambandham is injured while shielding Janaki. Janaki conducts an emergency rescue and the wristwatch slips into Sambandham's stomach, later revealed on an X-ray.

The engagement is arranged at Sambandham's grandfather's house. The truth about the watch and Janaki's manipulation comes to light, and Janaki breaks off the engagement, leaving Sambandham heartbroken.

Sambandham's grandfather learns the deception and suffers a fatal heart attack as the family is strained. At the same time, Malathi and Anand endure an elevator crisis that tests their bonds and ultimately brings them closer.

Guilt and revelation drive Janaki to realize Sambandham had quietly planned to transfer the lodge to her as an orphanage. She reevaluates her feelings and begins to fall in love with him.

To save the lodge, Janaki nudges Sambandham toward marrying his relative Rajeshwari alias Raji before the deadline. The looming deadline fuels the mounting tension as the clock ticks.

Raji's own romance takes center stage when she elopes with her Malayali lover, prompting the group to intervene and salvage the situation. Sambandham, Janaki, Anand, and Malathi rally to resolve the family crisis and protect the lodge's future.

In the film's twist, Sambandham and Janaki decide to elope and then marry legally at a police station within the deadline. The ceremony unites the two couples and secures the lodge for the orphanage.

The weddings are formalized, and Sambandham donates the lodge to the orphanage, completing the social mission of the story. The ending blends romance, duty, and communal responsibility.

Love wins, and the film closes on a hopeful note as the couples begin new lives together. The lodge's charity ensures a lasting legacy for the children.
