Back Street Girls: Gokudols

After learning their imprisoned Old Boss has decided to stay in prison and die there, the three yakuza brothers vow to make their new boss, 'Mad Dog' Inugane, proud. They reaffirm their loyalty and set out to prove themselves. The moment marks the start of their bold bid for power.

The trio fights their way into the Rival Boss's compound to carry out their vow. They are captured and discover that Inugane has already reached a truce with the Rival Boss. This twist shatters their sense of loyalty and triggers a new reckoning.

Returned to Inugane, the trio beg forgiveness for their earlier actions. Inugane offers them a brutal but hopeful choice about their future. Their loyalty is now tested more than ever.

They are offered the choice to commit seppuku and sell their organs, or to go to Thailand for gender reassignment surgery and idol training. The trio choose the Thailand path, betting on a new life. This marks a radical break from their yakuza past.

After surgery and intensive training in Thailand, Kentaro becomes Airi, Ryo becomes Mari, and Kazuhiko becomes Chika. They return as the Gokudols, a hybrid of yakuza grit and pop idol gloss. Their new identities symbolize a complete reinvention.

As the Gokudols gain popularity, Airi discovers that her ex-girlfriend now has a five-year-old daughter who is a fan of Airi. Airi wrestles with whether to confront the past and reveal the truth. The question tests the limits of their new life.

Mari begins a relationship with the lesbian nurse treating the group's surgery-related hemorrhoids. The affair deepens as they navigate public life as idols. It adds a human dimension to their transformed identities.

Chika enters a relationship with Kimura, Inugane's assistant who knows Chika's past. The romance complicates loyalties and pressures the trio as they confront their history.

After a renewed meeting with their old boss, they are encouraged to embrace their new selves and their public image. They start visiting cake shops and publicly protesting the yakuza in a dance between rebellion and acceptance.

The Gokudols audition for corrupt Seiji Koizumi, who drugs the group with the intent of sexually assaulting them. They get drunk, strike back, and beat Koizumi instead. Koizumi cancels the Summit and donates its funding to charities he controls, calling it fake news while launching a smear campaign.

Koizumi hires private investigators to follow the Gokudols and abducts Airi's supposed family, Mari's girlfriend, and Chika's boyfriend to blackmail them. The trio meet Koizumi, attack his henchmen, and rescue their hostage, Kimura. Chika is shot in the chest during the chaos.

Inugane reveals himself and helps subdue Koizumi with a fireworks rocket launcher, saving the hostages. Chika is apparently dead but revived when the bullets are nullified by her kevlar bra. The Gokudols race to the Summit, change en route, and perform the grand finale with new vigor.

In a mid-credits scene, Airi learns the ex-girlfriend has married another man and that the daughter is not Airi's child. Airi faints at the shocking news.

In a post-credits scene, Koizumi pleads for mercy as Inugane arranges his transfer to Thailand for reassignment surgery and idol training. It seals the deal on their new life and the price of power.
