In Hyderabad, Aadhi Pinisetty plays Kalyan, a blind chef who runs a popular restaurant and earns the deep respect of his family and community. He lives with a loving circle, including his parents and his neighbor and childhood friend, Anu, Ritika Singh, who adores him. Kalyan fills his evenings with music, strumming the guitar after service, and he often wanders home through the quiet streets, a ritual he savors amid his fulfilling yet demanding life. The neighborhood knows him as a steady, generous presence, praised for both his culinary skill and his optimism.

One evening, a woman arrives at his door—Vennela, Taapsee Pannu—seeking help to feed a homeless person. Her warmth and resolve draw Kalyan in, and she soon becomes a regular at his restaurant. As their bond grows, Kalyan finds himself falling in love with her, charmed by her courage and the little acts of kindness she shows to others. Their connection deepens against the backdrop of his familiar, supportive life.

Yet love becomes complicated when Vennela tearfully reveals a debt she cannot repay. She borrowed ₹20 lakh for her father’s heart surgery from a dangerous gang, and they threaten to abduct her if she misses the deadline by the next day. Moved by her plight, Kalyan, whose heart is already full of affection for her, vows to help by paying back the debt himself. The stakes rise quickly, turning romance into a perilous race against time.

On the way home after this confrontation, a car accident leaves Kalyan unconscious for three weeks—but when he awakens, his sight has returned. Three weeks have passed, and the world feels altered. He searches for Vennela, only to find no trace of her, and the reality of danger looming over her safety intensifies. Meanwhile, in the background, Kalyan’s family pressures him toward an arranged marriage with Anu, and to please his mother, Tulasi he contemplates a life he hadn’t planned with Anu, even as his heart remains with Vennela. Anu’s mother, Satya Krishnan, observes the strain and the shifting loyalties with growing concern.

As the wedding looms, Vennela’s father pleads for help because Vennela has been abducted again for the debt. Kalyan, still devoted to her, agrees to pay once more and ventures into danger to rescue her. The next day, he slips away from the marriage ceremony to pursue the truth and to save the woman he loves. He and Vennela’s father arrive at a tense rendezvous, where the gang holds a gun to Vennela. After Kalyan hands over the money, the scene erupts in gunfire—the gang is enraged, Vennela is taken, and Kalyan is left unconscious again, with no obvious explanation for what followed.

Back home, Anu realizes that Kalyan’s marriage to her is not born of genuine love but obligation. News of Vennela’s father dying in a car crash in Vizag unsettles him, prompting a journey to investigate the truth. He travels with Anu, aided by Constable Chokka Rao, Vennela Kishore. Together they trace leads to a blind clay artist named Vamsi, Aadarsh Balakrishna, whose car was involved in the earlier accident. Vamsi reveals that his girlfriend Jyothi—an NRI—drove the car and killed the old man, with an inspector bribed to cover it up. A shocking photo reveals Jyothi’s face—and it is Vennela.

Kalyan realizes that Vennela is a con artist who targets blind men who have been honored for their resilience, like himself and Vamsi. He teams with Anu and Chokka Rao to expose her. The truth emerges: Vennela’s real name is Kalavathi, and she abandoned Kalyan after his accident, continuing her cons and ultimately taking control of the gang; she even disguises herself as Jyothi to stage an accident and frame others. When Kalavathi is finally caught while conning another blind man, Shekar, a classical singer in Vijayawada, her ruse is thwarted. She is arrested, and in court the revelation comes that Kalavathi is a victim of abuse who became a con artist. She is found guilty but mentally ill, and sentenced to three years in a hospital.

In the wake of the trial, Chokka Rao is promoted to Sub-Inspector, and Kalyan and Anu briefly reunite, as Kalyan comes to terms with the true depth of his love. The film closes with a twist: Kalavathi is not actually mentally ill, and the doors remain open for her to restart her fraudulent ways, leaving a lingering question about justice and the cycles of manipulation.
