My Man

In Lyon’s high‑unemployment backdrop, Marie, a confident prostitute, cares for each client and shelters a homeless man sleeping in her building’s foyer. She feeds him, gives a place by her radiator, and later a relationship, providing clothes and a home. When he resents bar‑hopping while she works, she finds them a larger flat. Restless, he draws a manicurist into prostitution, is arrested for procuring, and both must confront the fallout.
