Set at the turn of the 21st century, the film follows a restless young man struggling within the most vulnerable fringe of society. Raoul drifts from one relationship to another, chasing an ideal of love that always seems out of reach, until he meets Jeanne, a woman destined to embrace freedom even as tragedy looms over her life.
