At Dream Castle, the playful ponies enjoy their time frolicking through vibrant meadows and lush green fields. They share joyful moments with their animal friends, setting the stage for the upcoming festival.

Baby Lickety-Split is hard at work perfecting a new dance routine. Her companion, Spike the baby dragon, assists her by playing the piano, creating a delightful atmosphere for her practice.

At the Volcano of Gloom, the evil witch Hydra plots to sabotage the ponies' festival. Frustrated by her inept daughters, Reeka and Draggle, she sends them off on a mission to create chaos during the celebration.

During an important dance performance, Baby Lickety-Split tries to introduce her unique moves but ends up causing a disastrous incident. Humiliated, she flees the scene with Spike chasing after her.

In her attempted escape, Baby Lickety-Split inadvertently tumbles down a waterfall. This accident leads her to become trapped in a secluded valley, separating her from her friends.

Reeka and Draggle's efforts to flood the festival area backfire spectacularly. Instead of causing trouble, they are washed away themselves, thanks to the intervention of the Sea Ponies.

As the search for Baby Lickety-Split intensifies, Hydra escalates her villainous plans by brewing the Smooze. This unstoppable ooze is designed to engulf Dream Castle, spreading unhappiness wherever it goes.

In a daring rescue mission, Pegasus ponies Wind Whistle and North Star travel to the human world to fetch Megan, the guardian of the Rainbow locket. She brings her younger siblings along for the magical adventure.

Upon returning to Dream Castle, Megan attempts to counter the Smooze's threat by unleashing the power of the rainbow. Unfortunately, the rainbow is swallowed whole, leaving everyone feeling disheartened.

Hydra realizes her latest Smooze version was missing an essential ingredient, the flume. She dispatches Reeka and Draggle to retrieve it from a monstrous plant, leading to a tense confrontation.

Megan leads a group to Paradise Estate where the Moonchick provides them shelter and a map to find the elusive Flutter Ponies. The Flutter Ponies are believed to hold the key to defeating the Smooze.

Meanwhile, Spike and Baby Lickety-Split find themselves drifting on a log after a narrow escape from the Smooze with the help of the Grundles. They are determined to reunite with their friends and stop the villainous plot.

The quest for the Flutter Ponies becomes perilous as Megan and her group face numerous obstacles. At one point, Megan nearly succumbs to the Smooze while traversing a field of towering sunflowers.

Upon reaching Flutter Valley, Megan and her friends meet Queen Rosedust. Initially hesitant to assist, she is compelled to join the fight when Baby Lickety-Split shows up safe alongside her companions.

In a climactic showdown, the Flutter Ponies use their powerful magic, known as Utter Flutter, to obliterate the Smooze. They capture the villains and return them to the volcano, restoring peace to Dream Castle and the surrounding lands.
