Pixie Hollow Games

Rosetta Megan Hilty is busy helping to set up flowers for the big night when she meets a confident new garden fairy named Chloe Brenda Song, who reveals she has been training for the Pixie Hollow Games and is thrilled to compete. While the garden fairies have little hope of winning and have never triumphed before, Chloe remains convinced that she and her partner can turn things around. When team selection comes, Chloe has already volunteered, and Rosetta is chosen to be her partner.

On the night of the games, Rosetta wears a fancy gown, certain her team will be eliminated after one round. The storm fairies, Rumble Jason Dolley and Glimmer Tiffany Thornton, are the heavy favorites to win the competition due to their winning streak and their almost endless supply of “rings” on their fingers. The first event is leapfrogging, and Rosetta initially refuses to hop onto the frog, but pressure from the crowd sends them into chaos on the racetrack. They advance only because another team’s contraption is damaged, a setback that foreshadows how quickly luck can swing in this high-stakes race.

The next day, Rosetta and Chloe press on through a demanding slate of events—dragonfly water skiing, twig-spheres, and mouse polo—gradually climbing the standings. In the penultimate teacup race, Chloe sails down the chute with ease, while Rosetta hesitates and crawls, much to Chloe’s dismay. The moment highlights a rift between them, and Chloe starts to doubt their chances. After a candid conversation, the two begin to repair their partnership, realizing that their strengths complement each other and that trust must come first if they’re going to pull off a comeback.

In the final derby cart race, two teams falter trying to take shortcuts, prompting Rosetta and Chloe to choose the mudslide mountain route. They succeed, in large part thanks to Tinker Bell Mae Whitman and her cart modifications, which give their ride the edge it needs. Just before they crest the finish line, Rumble uses Glimmer’s lightning to strike a wheel, a moment that tests their resolve and friendship. Despite the setback, Rosetta and Chloe push their damaged cart across the finish together, epitomizing teamwork and perseverance.

Queen Clarion Anjelica Huston announces the garden fairies as the winners, a surprising reversal that shatters expectations and exposes the unfair advantage enjoyed by the dominant duo. Rumble protests, until it’s revealed that Glimmer abandoned him at the last moment for cheating, a revelation that shifts the moral balance and clears the air for the champions. With cheers from their friends, Rosetta and Chloe accept their hard-won title and the tournament trophy, celebrating a victory forged through cooperation, guts, and a willingness to learn from mistakes.

Bobble Rob Paulsen and Clank Jeff Bennett recap the event in the closing credits, underscoring the spirit of the competition as Rosetta and Chloe receive their personalized winners’ rings and the tournament trophy.
