The wealthy Ramanathan is shocked when his son Arun returns after a decade in the United States, now presenting himself as a saint. Arun's newfound piety and calm contrast with his father's expectations of business leadership. Ramanathan contemplates how to bring him back to his former self.

Ramanathan enlists Rekha, a press reporter, to help revert Arun to his earlier self. Rekha arranges an interview with Arun, but he deliberately disrupts it, defying attempts to expose him. The dynamic begins the plan to dislodge his saintly image.

Undeterred, Rekha devises another plan by taking Arun to a temple under the pretense of providing access to his spirituality. The plan aims to provoke him and reveal the real Arun beneath the saintly veneer. Arun remains calm but curious about the purpose.

Rekha fakes a car breakdown to trap Arun on the road and in a village. Arun shows compassion by comforting a crying child and offering a chocolate, but the crowd mistakes him as a kidnapper. Rekha then cuts off Arun’s beard, symbolically erasing his public piety.

After orchestrating a sequence of incidents to tarnish his image, Arun renounces his sainthood and begins a return to worldly life. The public's perception shifts as he struggles with the imposed persona. This marks a turning point in his arc from holy to human.

Back at work, Arun grows curious about why his father has sent money to Sagaya Mary for more than 20 years. He begins to uncover the connections behind the old financial support. The thread hints at a deeper family history and a hidden motive.

Sagaya Mary learns that someone has proposed to her nephew John and, when pressed, recounts the story of her brother, Alex Pandian—the man who fathered John. This revelation connects Arun to a forgotten policeman's legacy and foreshadows the flashback to come.

A flashback reveals Alex Pandian as a fearless police officer who clashes with the local mob boss Egambaram. Their rivalry escalates until Egambaram fatally stabs Alex, vowing vengeance on his death. The backstory establishes the origin of the twins' separation and the fathers' feud.

In the same hospital, Ramanathan’s wife loses her child, and Sagaya Mary entrusts one of Alex Pandian’s sons to Ramanathan. He raises him as Arun, while Sagaya Mary raises the other twin, John. The twins grow up unaware of their shared father and intertwined fates.

On Arun’s 25th birthday, he experiences a divine epiphany claiming to be the reincarnation of Alex Pandian. He agrees to meet a woman named Asha at a hotel, only to fall into a trap that leads to a confrontation and his arrest. The incident catalyzes a judicial path and further revelations.

During Arun's court hearing, a man claiming to be Alex Pandian emerges, insisting he had been in Sri Lanka all along. This apparent revelation is revealed to be John—unbeknownst to him, working with Egambaram. The courtroom becomes a battleground for truth and deception.

Arun confesses to police that he fabricated the reincarnation tale to lure the killers out of hiding. The truth sets the stage for the final pursuit of the real culprits. This admission shifts the focus to unmasking Egambaram and his accomplices.

John finally learns the truth about Alex Pandian and his brother Arun and sets out to save Arun. He confronts Egambaram in a climactic showdown but is mortally wounded in the process. Before dying, John kills Egambaram and disposes of his body in the sea, echoing the murder of their father.

The film ends with Arun and Rekha, now married, paying respects at John's grave. The legacy of the brothers and the father’s memory lingers as Arun honors John's sacrifice. The circle closes with a quiet, heartfelt farewell.
