Following the grandfather's wishes, Meenakshi and Sundar marry in an arranged ceremony at the Meenakshi Sundareshwar temple. The ceremony cements their bond in the eyes of family and tradition. The newlyweds begin their life together under the pressure of expectations.

Soon after the wedding, Sundar secures an internship opportunity in Bangalore and leaves his hometown. The move marks the start of their long-distance relationship. Meenakshi stays behind, hoping to join him soon.

On his first day, the company reveals that it only hires single employees. To keep the job, Sundar pretends to be unmarried, blocking Meenakshi from joining him. This decision sets a foundation of separation between the couple.

Feeling disrespected, Meenakshi leaves her in-laws' house. She speaks with her grandfather, who advises her to meet Sundar and discuss their issues openly. His guidance rekindles the possibility of salvaging the relationship.

Meenakshi texts that she will meet Sundar the next day, but his colleague responds on Sundar's behalf, taking her to the location of Sundar's app presentation in a calculated act of revenge. The move sows further confusion and tension.

Sundar is shocked to see Meenakshi at the presentation and fears jeopardizing his job. He yells at her in front of colleagues, and she tears up and leaves. The moment marks a pivotal clash between pride and affection.

Sundar discovers that a colleague orchestrated the entire ruse to drive a wedge between him and Meenakshi. He rushes to apologize, but by then she has already gone. This fuels a renewed urgency to repair their relationship.

Sundar leaves the presentation to search for Meenakshi and finds her at a late-night screening of Rajinikanth's Darbar. She forgives him, and they embrace, ending the film on a hopeful note for their future together.
