Soloman, Dileep, travels with his sister to Kannadahalli, a quiet village perched in the Karnataka hills, to meet two retired teachers who live in a grand estate at the top of a hill called Swargam. There, he encounters Anna John, Sharada, and Alice John, Bharathi Rao, two sisters who lead a life of quiet dignity as spinsters and owners of the sprawling property. The household is completed by the home nurse Sofiya, Navya Nair, the cook, the cook’s son, and a priest, all of whom stay close to the aging sisters. Soloman steps in as the estate’s manager and, with a gentle warmth and practical energy, slowly wins over the two elderly women who begin to rely on him more and more.

As days turn into a settled routine, Soloman’s presence brings a soft brightness into the mansion. The sisters come to regard him as a surrogate son, and a bond forms that feels protective and affectionate. It isn’t long before Soloman discovers a tender connection with Sofiya, the warm and steadfast nurse who tends to the sisters’ needs. What begins as guarded flirtation gradually blossoms into a quiet romance, even though their interactions are marked by frequent, affectionate squabbles. The two decide to marry, and in a gesture of deep trust, the sisters choose to gift away all their wealth to Soloman and Sofiya. The atmosphere thickens with both happiness and a sense of mystery, as Sofiya reveals to Soloman a painful piece of her past: her brother Sabu, a photographer, was murdered by a group of drug-addicted students.

A flashback then peels back the surface and reveals a darker layer to Soloman’s life. It shows that he has a troubling, hidden past: he is falsely accused in the murder of a photographer, who turns out to be Sabu. The weight of this truth gnaws at him, and guilt drives him to consider leaving the village to pursue higher education abroad. Sofiya, tense and protective, overhears a conversation between Soloman and his sister Treesa that hints at unresolved dangerous ties from his past. In parallel, Soloman visits the teachers and offers payasam, a simple gesture laden with meaning and warmth that underscores how far he has come from the turmoil of his earlier life.

Meanwhile, Sofiya’s conscience gnaws at her; she confesses to the priest, Nedumudi Venu, that she overheard something crucial and that she had poisoned Soloman’s payasam in a misguided bid to avenge her brother’s death. This revelation shatters the fragile peace that had settled over Swargam. Soloman himself travels to the priest to learn the truth of what Sofiya has admitted, and the truth triggers a bitter reckoning. He rushes back to the estate and discovers that the two teachers have died, leaving the community and the lovers to confront a series of morally complex choices. Accepting responsibility for Sofiya, Soloman chooses to bear the consequences, standing by her side as the world around them seems to close in.

In the tense aftermath, Soloman makes a final, poignant journey to the tombs of Anna and Alice, where he finds Sofiya waiting. The film closes on a sober yet hopeful note: despite the shadows of a painful past and the weight of their shared secrets, the two decide to face the future together, seeking a life that transcends the guilt and misunderstandings that nearly overwhelmed them. Through sorrow, forgiveness, and a stubborn sort of devotion, their bond is tested and ultimately reaffirmed, suggesting that love and loyalty can endure even when memories threaten to pull them apart.
