Edison Carter is a headstrong television reporter determined to uncover corruption, even if his employer Network 23 tries to silence him. While investigating an apartment explosion, he is pulled off the story by the station’s management. His new producer, Theora Jones, agrees to dig deeper despite the pressure mounting from above. Together they uncover a dangerous secret: Network 23 is concealing a subliminal advertising system called blipverts that can be fatal to some viewers, even provoking deadly explosions.
