Maxx is a purple‑clad superhero who lives in a cardboard box and befriends Julie Winters, a freelance social worker. He constantly slips between the mundane “real” world and a primal outback realm where he reigns and protects Julie. The enigmatic Mr. Gone, a self‑styled student of mystic arts, seems to understand their odd bond better than they do, though he keeps his knowledge hidden—for now.
