Babu, a reluctant delivery man, listens as Yesu reveals he often steals from clients to make ends meet. Babu initially hesitates but decides to adopt this method to improve his situation. They are living with their unemployed friend Abhi, who is engrossed in crime shows.

Babu heads to a gated apartment complex to deliver a package. During his visit, he encounters several unusual moments, including a run-in with Tejaswi, a police verification process, and a resident named Ravi. These encounters set the stage for the unfolding events.

At apartment 401, Babu delivers a package to an elderly woman. He steals a ₹500 note after trying to bluff her about an underpayment. When she realizes he's cheating her, a scuffle ensues, and she falls to the ground, appearing lifeless afterward.

Observing her lifeless body, Babu imagines guidance from Yesu and Abhi on hiding the crime. He moves her body to her room, attempting to make her death look like natural sleep, while noticing Bujji, who is unaware of the incident.

A security guard arrives and investigates, revealing he is replacing the memory card of a hidden spy camera installed earlier. Babu secretly takes the camera and messages Yesu and Abhi for help, realizing he is involved in a dangerous situation.

Bujji invites Ravi inside, offering marijuana, while also contaminating the old lady's water bottle to drug her. Unintentionally, Babu is also drugged and falls asleep in Bujji's bedroom, waking up next to a dead body in the living room.

After waking, Babu flees from Bujji's apartment, meeting Yesu outside. He notices his delivery packages are missing, replaced with ₹50 lakh in cash, and discovers the dead body is Banerjee, a police officer, along with stolen drugs and packages.

Babu, Yesu, and Abhi uncover that they have been caught in a drug lab and staged crimes. They identify the girl from the previous day as Myra, a drug dealer, who was involved with Ravi and Banerjee. Babu also realizes he woke up in the wrong apartment, 501.

The trio finds Banerjee's body in apartment 501 and later discovers Ravi's dead body and a hidden drug lab. They learn that Ravi was supplying drugs, and Banerjee had come to gather information about the operation, which led to his death.

They interrogate Myra, who reveals her role in the drug operation and that Banerjee was investigating Ravi. Babu accuses Abhi of masterminding the crime, leading to a violent confrontation in which Abhi admits to cooking the drugs and orchestrating the escape plan.

Abhi kills Ravi and stages an explosion at the drug lab to cover their tracks, causing chaos and making everyone high. Babu and Yesu escape with the packages and footage, just before the authorities arrive, ending with their temporary freedom.

Weeks later, a detective informs Babu and Yesu that Abhi and Myra are mentally unstable. The police let them go in exchange for the money, which is rendered worthless after the Prime Minister bans old ₹500 and ₹1000 notes, as shown in the pre-credit scene.
