Fung Sheng Wu Chi is seeking revenge against Wang for the death of his Tibetan lama friends. The blind assassin has been tracking the One-Armed Boxer across different locations, using his deadly flying guillotine to eliminate his target. This vendetta drives the entire cat-and-mouse pursuit throughout the movie.

Earlier scenes establish Fung Sheng Wu Chi as a methodical killer who never stops until his target is eliminated, setting up the relentless chase.

The flying guillotine is a Hat-like weapon with a razor-sharp circular blade attached to a long chain. Fung Sheng Wu Chi swings it like a frisbee, using the chain to control its trajectory and aim for swift decapitations. The weapon can be thrown at close range and retrieved by pulling the chain back, making it a highly mobile and lethal assassination tool.

The weapon is introduced early as Fung Sheng Wu Chi demonstrates his signature killing method, establishing it as the primary threat.

The blind assassin is aided by three lethal fighters: a Thai boxer with powerful striking skills, a yoga master with extreme flexibility and unique combat techniques, and a skilled kobojutsu practitioner who uses double swords. These three work together to track and corner the One-Armed Boxer while their leader strikes from distance with the flying guillotine.

The trio is introduced progressively, each showcasing distinct fighting styles that complement the assassin's ranged attacks.

Wang uses bamboo poles as diversionary tools to misdirect Fung Sheng Wu Chi's attacks. By swinging the poles and creating false targets, he causes the assassin to waste his flying guillotine strikes on empty space. This not only disarms the weapon's effectiveness but also allows Wang to get close enough to dismantle the flying guillotine entirely during their final confrontation.
