Masameer: The Movie

Saltooh is visited by a man who warns that their house will be demolished to lower estate prices and reduce pollution. The plan is to build a restroom in its place. The two families tense up as they realize their home is in jeopardy.

Trad subjects Saad to a lengthy test that lasts 3 hours and 20 minutes, after which Saad quits. The test reveals Saad's limits and his frustration at the lack of meaning.

Saltooh informs them that their house will be demolished, and the demolition proceeds. The family loses their home and becomes homeless.

Living on the street, they all reflect on their struggles. Saad vents that he is a MIT graduate who hasn't done anything meaningful, while Saltooh recalls his mother's constant calls about jobs, marriage, and children.

On the hunt for something to salvage, they meet an overweight man rummaging through trash. The man uncovers a Rolex watch and a scooter complete with helmet, sparking a strange windfall. The trio then digs through bins themselves, but only yields junk—revealing they were actually scavenging for food.

Dana, an AI enthusiast, develops a prototype robot named Fazzee intended to help people. The early version works, but Fazzee accidentally destroys a car, raising concerns about its safety.

Tomorrow, the trio crafts their own costumes and arms themselves to confront the demolisher. They prepare for a confrontational plan to protect their home.

In the ensuing clash, Saad hurls a spear and defeats the man responsible for their threat. The others stand ready as the threat is neutralized.

While rummaging through bins again, Trad discovers a letter inviting them to join the Society of Heroes with Extraordinary Abilities. He dubs their group the Three Gorooms.

That night, Dana wakes to a TV report by Dr. Adel announcing that the Society of Heroes is accepting applications and tryouts at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center, insisting the world always needs more heroes.

At the convention center, Trad explains that superheroes are respected by the public, while another speaker notes the presence of people wearing capes and costumes. A tent is set up where Dr. Adel hosts the applications.

Trad argues that costumes are not required to join the Society, and that Dr. Adel would judge them by merit rather than appearance. However, they are rejected for arriving without a costume and escorted out by security.
