Mary and The Witch's Flower

Mary Smith moves from her previous home to the tranquil countryside of northern England. She goes to stay with her Great-Aunt Charlotte, hoping for a new beginning but soon finds herself feeling bored and isolated.

To make herself useful, Mary attempts to assist with chores around her Great-Aunt Charlotte's estate. Unfortunately, her inexperience leads to a series of comical accidents, deepening her feelings of loneliness.

While adjusting to her new surroundings, Mary becomes the target of playful teasing by a local boy named Peter. His mockery of her clumsiness and vibrant red hair makes her feel even more out of place in the countryside.

One day, Mary stumbles upon Peter's cats, Tib and Gib, which leads her to a garden full of enchanting glowing flowers. She learns from a local gardener that these flowers, known as 'fly-by-night', hold magical properties sought after by witches.

The next day, Mary faces a shocking turn of events when Gib suddenly vanishes without a trace. Following a hunch, Tib leads Mary to a broomstick, setting off a series of magical experiences.

In an excited moment, Mary accidentally breaks a bulb from a fly-by-night flower while handling the broomstick. This action unleashes magical energy, animating the broomstick and granting Mary the thrilling ability to fly.

The adventurous flight carries Mary to Endor College for witches, a stunning establishment located high above the clouds. Here, she meets Madam Mumblechook, the headmistress who mistakenly identifies her as a new student.

As her time progresses at Endor College, Mary reveals an astonishing ability to perform advanced magic, such as invisibility, impressing her peers and instructors alike. Her distinctive red hair becomes a notable characteristic among witches.

When Mary admits that her magic comes from the fly-by-night flowers and that Tib belongs to Peter, Madam Mumblechook’s attitude shifts drastically. She reveals her malicious intentions by demanding information about Peter's whereabouts.

That night, Mary receives a foreboding message indicating that Madam has kidnapped Peter. The demand is clear: Mary must retrieve the fly-by-night bulbs and bring them to Endor College.

In a courageous effort, Mary and Tib return to Endor with the bulbs. However, they soon find themselves captured by Madam and Doctor Dee, who are conducting cruel experiments in their transformation laboratory.

While imprisoned, Mary learns that Peter is also trapped and discovers the horrifying truth about Doctor Dee's experiments. He has been transforming animals, including Gib, into grotesque creatures.

Using a spell she secretly acquired from Madam's office, Mary manages to reverse the transformations of the captured creatures, unlocking their cell. Their escape attempt on the Little Broomstick is chaotic, resulting in Peter's recapture.

In a twist of fate, Mary is transported to a hidden cottage where she discovers spell notes and a magical mirror belonging to her Great-Aunt Charlotte. Charlotte shares her own story of once being a red-haired student at Endor, revealing deep ties to the magical world.

Mary boldly returns to Endor, determined to rescue Peter, who is on the verge of being transformed into a warlock. In a race against time, she delivers the spellbook, allowing Peter to break free and ultimately dismantle Madam and Doctor Dee's dark plans.
