Bertie bikes to the DMV to get his driver's license back. He phones Klausi to prep the Opel Calibra in the garage for sale, just before a cocky young driver Rico Feucht crashes into him from behind as he pretends they’re racing. The crash sets the tone for Bertie’s renewed battle to keep his life on the road.

Uschi and Gunnar arrive at Bertie’s villa to find it trashed and the Jaguar missing. Daniel has taken the car to the quarry to drift with his friends while his girlfriend Tessa films the scene. Uschi confronts him about his reckless behavior and his uncertain future.

Axel arrives at the garage seeking a car for the Bilster Berg Classics race. Klausi offers him the Calibra, but a crude joke about a boot trick leads to a punch when Axel’s girlfriend protests. Bertie watches and the deal remains tense.

Bank manager Werner informs Bertie that three months of missed payments have left a debt of 33,500 euros. If he can’t come up with the money by month’s end, the bank will foreclose on the garage. Bertie and his crew scramble to salvage both finances and hope.

The Manta is prepared with the classic Bertie look, and Daniel and Mücke repaint Bertie’s car black against his wishes. The race begins with a stalled engine, but Bertie restarts and climbs from last to first as Rico crashes himself out. Bertie crosses the finish line first, saving the garage’s future.

After the race, Bertie and Uschi drive to the seacoast in the Manta, now sporting the original color scheme. They sit on the car’s roof and share a kiss, signaling a new start for their family. Daniel and Mücke join them as they look toward the future.
