After twenty years in exile, Aron returns to Chile, confronting memories of a long dictatorship. He questions those who stayed—victims or perpetrators—and his own past, seeking his brother’s new identity and his father’s whereabouts. With Isol’s love he seeks redemption, facing shipwreck, resurrection and idea that each man becomes his own executioner.
