Lion of Oz

A thunderstorm drags Oscar Diggs's balloon into the Land of Oz, and the Lion is knocked loose from the balloon during the chaos. He finds himself in a magical world filled with unfamiliar dangers and wonders. The journey toward courage begins as he lands in Oz.

The Lion comes across a living Oak tree being harassed by flying monkeys. He frightens off the attackers, and the tree expresses its gratitude. This encounter marks the first alliance that will guide him on his quest.

The Wicked Witch of the East appears and declares Oscar her prisoner, demanding that the Lion retrieve the Flower of Oz to secure Oscar's freedom. The Tree explains that the Witch's plan to conquer Oz can only be stopped by the Flower. The Lion steels himself for a dangerous quest.

The Lion saves Starburst the fairy from drowning, and she and her friends urge him to seek the Flower of Oz at a distant castle, providing crucial guidance for his quest. They point him toward a castle where the Flower supposedly lies and offer guidance for his quest. Their encouragement steels his resolve.

The Lion is joined by Silly Oz-bul, a springy teddy bear, and Captain Fitzgerald the toy soldier, along with Wimzik and her ballerina Caroline. Together they set off toward the castle to locate the Flower of Oz. They vow to face whatever lies ahead on the journey.

The Witch teleports Captain Fitzgerald to a dungeon, but inside he learns from a flying monkey guard that the Witch has lied about Oscar's imprisonment. The group realizes they are being manipulated and must press on with new caution.

They reach a waterfall with a silver bridge to a floating island. Silly Oz-bul slips, but Lion saves him from falling. The Mini-Munchkins explain that the real bridge was an illusion born of their sadness and doubt.

Wimzik's encouragement helps them break the Witch's spell and believe in themselves, restoring the bridge to its proper form. The team rededicates themselves to their quest with renewed courage.

Caroline's battery runs out as the Witch returns and casts her into a whirlpool. Lion and Wimzik rescue her, and Wimzik's touch recharges both Lion and Caroline. The team regains their strength for the challenges ahead.

The group meets the Seamstress, who is under the Witch's spell and turns Silly and Caroline into quilt patches. Wimzik calms her into remembering who she really is, and she gives them a petal from the Flower of Oz.

The Lion tracks the scent to an ice-encased garden. When Wimzik touches the Flower, the garden thaws instantly, revealing that Wimzik is the Flower of Oz.

The Witch and Gloom confront the group with Fitzgerald revealing the Witch's deceit. A fierce fight ensues, and Lion takes the Witch's blast for Wimzik, nearly dying. Wimzik regains her powers, defeats the Witch and Gloom, and the Witch vanishes.

With the loss of his Badge of Courage, Wimzik explains that true courage comes from a noble heart rather than a token. The Lion decides to find Oscar and bids his friends goodbye, promising to return someday.

The Lion meets Dorothy Gale, the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and Toto, effectively stepping out of his own story and into the world of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.
