Twenty-five years ago, Veera Narasimharayalu ruled the region as a revered arbiter. He decides to perform the ritual to secure the realm's prosperity and renames himself Naga Penchalayya as part of the rite. His plan aims to establish a lasting, divine protection from four sides, setting his life on a dangerous path.

Viswanatha Rayalu betrays and murders Veera Narasimharayalu during the ritual bid, seizing control of the realm. The act represents a brutal power grab that disrupts the sacred plan. The death triggers a vow among the participants and sets the stage for further violence in the tragedy.

To surprise everyone, Sohini dresses as Chakri's aunt, but the disguise devolves into a frenzy that leads Sohini to fatally slay Viswanath Rayalu.
