Kill Me Again

In a world teetering on the edge of chaos, Vince (Val Kilmer) and his girlfriend Fay (Joanne Whalley) embark on a reckless heist to steal $850,000 from two ruthless Las Vegas mobsters. The heist quickly spirals out of control, claiming a life and leaving Fay in a moral quandary about their choices. When a violent disagreement over the money erupts, Fay takes matters into her own hands, knocking Vince unconscious and making a daring escape with the cash.

Meanwhile, Jack Andrews (Michael Madsen), a struggling private investigator in Reno, grapples with his own demons after the tragic drowning of his wife. Overwhelmed by debt and regret, he encounters Fay, who presents herself as a battered spouse seeking refuge. Despite the apparent fabrications in her story, Jack’s inherent compassion drives him to assist her in staging her own death.

Their plan to fake Fay’s demise at a motel falls apart when a seemingly trivial mistake—a matchbook bearing Jack’s name—is left behind, leading to unforeseen consequences. As Jack grows more enamored with Fay, he anxiously agrees to meet her again, only to discover that she has mysteriously vanished with half of their arrangement.
