The film opens in New Delhi with NSG Captain Shyam, a seasoned and no-nonsense leader of the Black Cat commando team, tracking down a wanted terrorist named Jagmohan Pandey after a high-stakes murder of a senior police official. Supreme Court judge Usha Varma, who is also the elder sister of Home Secretary Rajan Varma, presides over Pandey’s trial, setting a tense stage where justice and violence collide.

In retaliation to Pandey’s arrest, Pandey’s close associate and infamous terrorist leader mounts a brutal counterstrike: a bomb blast kills Usha’s son, Unnikrishnan, shattering the Varma family and sending shockwaves through the security apparatus. In response, the Home department assigns Z Category protection for Usha and her kin, a move that draws the family into a dangerous orbit they are reluctant to accept.

Balram, the Police Deputy Inspector General, assigns the NSG Black Cat commando team to guard Usha and her household, a decision that places [Shyam] in close proximity to the judge’s world. Usha and her daughter, Manasi Varma, resist the heavy security, treating the team with coldness and oaths of independence, while Shyam’s blunt approach rubs them the wrong way and his discipline becomes a daily point of friction.

Behind the scenes, Sukhram, a trusted house servant, is revealed to be a spy. Interrogation confirms that Unni’s death was part of a targeted plan to strike at Justice Varma. Rajan and Balram decide to keep the news under wraps for the moment, a decision that gnaws at the family’s sense of transparency. The mood softens when Mariya Singh, the housekeeper, grows sympathetic toward Shyam after he shares the truth about Unni’s death.

Tension spikes when an incident occurs: Nathuram, Manasi’s boyfriend, is accidentally killed by Shyam’s team while trespassing inside Usha’s house. The tragedy deepens Manasi’s anger toward Shyam, prompting Usha to remove the security detail and to consider putting Shyam on trial herself. Yet fate takes another turn as Sanjay, a colleague of Manasi, is revealed to be entangled with Qureshi and abducts Manasi. His admission that Unni was killed and that Nathuram is actually Qureshi’s son, a covert agent named Aashiq Quais sent to infiltrate the Varma household, shocks the family to the core.

Qureshi escalates the danger with a direct ultimatum: drop all charges against Pandey and set him free, or Manasi will pay with her life. The family learns the full extent of the conspiracy as Rajan, Balram, and Shyam reveal Unni’s death and Nathuram’s true identity. Faced with this layered treachery, they hatch a plan: Usha will release Pandey, and Shyam will disguise himself as Pandey to manipulate the terrorists into releasing Manasi.

The exchange moment initially appears to work, but Pandey detects the switch and escapes, triggering a fierce firefight between the Black Cat Commandos and Qureshi’s group. The commandos hold the line long enough for Shyam to rescue Manasi, yet Balram is fatally shot by Pandey in the melee. The climactic confrontation ends with Shyam eliminating both Qureshi and Pandey, wiping out most of the terrorist faction.

In the final scenes, Shyam is seen years later at an airport, now serving as the security chief for the Governor of Kashmir. A relieved and grateful Manasi, still processing all that happened, approaches with a warm gaze, signaling a fragile but hopeful closure to a saga of fear, loyalty, and hard-fought justice.
