Kaena: The Prophecy

An alien spacecraft carrying the Vecarians crashes onto a desolate desert planet. The harsh environment claims the vessel, leaving it in ruins and marking the beginning of a new chapter in this barren world.

From the wreckage of the Vecarian ship, a colossal tree named Axis emerges, reaching towering heights into the sky. This tree becomes the centerpiece of the ecosystem, shaping the lives of future inhabitants.

Six centuries later, a unique society of humanoid tree-dwellers has adapted to life in the branches of Axis. They have developed a culture that reflects both the beauty and the challenges of their transformed environment.

Among the tree-dwellers is Kaena, an adventurous teenager filled with curiosity about the world beyond her village. Her dreams and desires set her apart from her community, leading to tension with the village elder.

Kaena's aspirations to explore are met with vehement disapproval from the village elder. He believes her ambitions challenge their established beliefs and insists that the villagers remain dedicated to their roles assigned by the gods, the Selenites.

Kaena experiences increasingly vivid dreams of a vibrant world, illuminated by a blue sun and filled with water. These visions intensify her desire to leave her home and uncover the mysteries that lie outside her village.

Defying the elder's warnings, Kaena bravely climbs to the summit of Axis. This daring journey marks a turning point in her quest for discovery and her quest for self-identity.

At Axis's peak, Kaena encounters Opaz, the last remnant of the Vecarian lineage. Captivated by her insights, he reveals his purpose of cultivating intelligent worms in hopes of escaping the desert planet's desolation.

Opaz recruits Kaena to help him locate Vecanoi, an ancient archive containing the knowledge of his civilization. Their quest begins, setting the stage for the challenges they will face together.

Vecanoi is buried deep at the base of Axis and is fiercely guarded by the Selenite Queen. Her life’s mission has been to obliterate Vecanoi, blaming it for the destruction that befell her planet long ago.

The Selenite Queen has sacrificed much, including the future of her people, in her relentless pursuit of vengeance against Vecanoi. Her past intertwines with the future of Kaena and Opaz, heightening the stakes of their mission.

As Kaena, Opaz, and the villagers begin to understand the true history of their world, they confront their beliefs and the mysteries of the past. This journey challenges their perspectives and unites them against a common threat.
