In a not-so-distant future, humanity battles the harsh realities of climate change. Fabricated shelters and artificially created spaces become the only refuge as chaos erupts within these zones.

The Adrian Republic's ruthless attacks on the environment and neighboring shelters spark a brutal civil war against the Allied Forces. This conflict highlights the ongoing struggles each faction faces amid dwindling resources.

Amid the chaos, Captain Yun Jung-yi emerges as a tenacious mercenary, winning numerous battles against the Adrian Republic. Beneath her tough exterior, however, she harbors deep fears for her daughter’s failing health.

On the day her daughter Yun Seo-hyun is scheduled for a life-saving surgery, Jung-yi encounters a critical failure during a mission. This unfortunate incident leaves Seo-hyun in a coma, shattering Jung-yi's world.

Fast forward to the year 2194, where the innovative Kronoid institute proposes a radical solution: cloning Jung-yi's brain. This initiative aims to provide for Seo-hyun's healthcare and education, allowing her to realize her mother's legacy.

From Jung-yi's cerebral data, the project brings forth AI Jung_E, an android designed with the memory and skills of its human counterpart. This creation positions Dr. Yun Seo-hyun to rewrite her mother's story as a tale of heroism.

Kronoid's team embarks on meticulously recreating Jung-yi's final mission in a simulated environment. The goal is to extract crucial battle data, but AI Jung_E struggles to overcome the same failures that plagued its creator.

Seo-hyun receives the devastating news that her childhood cancer has returned, leaving her a mere three months to make amends. Concurrently, the Kronoid project shifts its focus from combat AI to domestic services amid growing tensions.

As Seo-hyun delves deeper into the Kronoid project, she unearths troubling secrets regarding a teammate's illicit dealings with a Jung_E robot. This revelation raises serious ethical questions about the implications of advanced AI.

Determined to escape the facility, Seo-hyun commandeers a Jung_E robot and maneuvers through a maze of relentless combat robots. This daring act marks a pivotal moment in her fight for survival.

In a climactic standoff, project director Kim Sang-Hoon, who possesses an AI brain, confronts Jung_E. The battle escalates, culminating in Kim's demise during a train crash, revealing the blurred line between humanity and AI.

In the aftermath, Jung_E is faced with a choice: to abandon Seo-hyun and survive in a treacherous world. With a heavy heart, it seeks refuge on a rugged rock formation, beginning its journey of self-discovery.
