Professor Das explains that time travel is possible via a wormhole coordinates in the sky. He argues they could go back to August 1984 to prevent the hijacking and the subsequent crash. The proposal sets the stakes for altering the present.

Shantanu, Das, and Bihu agree to attempt the time jump. They prepare to travel to the past and stop Mitra from boarding JL50. The team braces for the risk of changing the entire timeline.
