A clueless Pilgrim sets out to hunt a turkey that talks in a Jimmy Durante impression and runs the local black market. The film spoofs wartime rationing—Pilgrims queue behind a “Ye Cigarettes Today” sign—and includes a recurring bear with an “Eat at Joe’s” sandwich placard. In the end the turkey uses the gags to outwit his pursuer and save himself.
