Jack

Karen Powell goes into labor during a lively Halloween party, startling everyone present. With the help of her husband Brian and their friends, she is rushed to the hospital to deliver her baby.

The baby, named Jack, is born extremely premature, only ten weeks into the pregnancy. Miraculously, he appears as a healthy, full-term baby upon examination.

Doctors Dr. Benfante and Dr. Lin inform Karen and Brian about Jack's diagnosis of Werner syndrome. They explain that Jack will age four times faster than an average child, which is a devastating revelation for the family.

Fast forward ten years, and Jack, now appearing as a 40-year-old man, struggles with isolation and his unique condition. He observes neighborhood children from his window, learning that they see him as a 'monstrosity.'

Ultimately, Jack's friends come over, hoping to encourage him to interact with the world again. Louis leads the class in a chant, inviting Jack to come outside and play, which touches Jack's heart.

Encouraged by his friends, Jack finally decides to return to school. Their camaraderie rejuvenates him, and he begins to embrace life outside of his house once again.

Seven years later, Jack stands on graduation day, now looking elderly. In a heartfelt valedictory speech, he reflects on life and encourages his classmates to make their lives spectacular.
